WOULD WE RECOMMEND?
GLO Series 2 is pretty similar to the original GLO device – the only big difference is the physical appearance, which is a bit more modern and stylish. Just like the original device, GLO Series 2 is durable and offers a great number of consecutive uses. It’s certainly good to last for a full day.
If you already have GLO Series 2, it’s a great device and we hope you enjoy it as much as our team here are Heat180 do, however if you’re thinking of investing in Series 2, we’d recommend that you check out GLO Pro or GLO Hyper, as GLO Series 2 is a bit outdated now.

UNBOXING
The GLO Series 2 kit includes the device, a Micro-B USB cable, a cleaning brush, the manual, and the warranty card.
As always, the first thing to do when you receive your GLO Series 2 device is check the charge. To do this, click the control button once. The LED indicator lights that surround the control button will indicate what charge percentage is remaining. 4 lights means 100% charge remaining, 3 lights mean 75%, 2 is 50%, and 1 means that there is 25% or less charge remaining. If the indicator lights start at anything less than 100%, we recommend charging the device. To do so connect the device to a power source. Charging takes approximately 2 hours, 19 minutes.
HOW TO USE
Once your device is charged, you can begin using it. To do so;
- Insert HeatStick
- Push and hold the control button
- Device will vibrate and LED lights will flash.
- Heating takes approximately 40 seconds
- Once all four LED lights around the control button turn solid and the device vibrates again, it is ready to use
- A cycle is 3 minutes, 30 seconds
- At the end of the cycle, the lights will turn off and the device will power down
- When cycle is over pull the HeatStick out and discard
Since this is a multi-use device, you can start another cycle as soon as your first cycle ends. After approximately 43 uses the device must be charged again.
Since the heating occurs around the outside of the HeatStick the wrapper will have quite alot of discoloration. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
GLO devices do not need to be cleaned as often as some Heat-Not-Burn devices do, since they do not have heating blades. However, the manufacturer still recommends cleaning after every 20 cycles. It sounds daunting but fear not! All you have to do is open the top and bottom ends of the heating chamber then run the cleaning brush through the entire length of the device. Flip the device at some point and repeat this action from the opposite end and you’re done!
HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW
GLO’s brand of HeatSticks are called Neo or NeoStiks. NeoStiks are specifically designed for GLO products. They look a bit like a traditional cigarettes but are much thinner. The ingredient list for NeoStiks does not appear to be public nor does the percentage of nicotine in each stick. WARRANTY
GLO Mini has a 1-year warranty, unless extended by the user. In each kit, there should be a warranty card which will explain how to register the device for an extended warranty. In some countries, if you purchase the device off the official GLO website for that region, the device will already be pre-registered.
The warranty kit for this device does not explain in-depth the terms of the warranty, but GLO’s official website states that any damaged or defective devices will be exchanged so long as the company is informed within a “reasonable time after purchase.” Any devices that are damaged or defective must be shipped back to GLO. GLO will cover the cost of shipping unless the items are not covered by the warranty.
