WOULD WE RECOMMEND?

GLO seems to be listening to customer feedback because GLO Pro has two unique settings (Standard and Boost) which allow you customize your experience. With these two settings you can change temperature, length of use, and heating time. For both settings you get a little under 30 consecutive uses, but still pretty good. Our biggest complain was that the device makes a constant ticking/rattling sound when turned on that can be annoying. This is due to the induction heating technology used in GLO Pro.

FEATURES: Temperature adjustment, length of use adjustment, heating time adjustment.

QUALITY: It’s equally as heavy as other GLO devices and doesn’t feel flimsy. The ticking/rattling sound isn’t the best.

DESIGN: The design is gorgeous! We love the gold accents. It’s nice that the company kept the original device shape, but updated it and made it more stylish.

In your GLO Pro kit you will find; the device, the manual, a Quick Start Guide, a warranty card, a USB adaptor (note: adaptor style varies based on region of purchase), a USB cable, and a cleaning brush.

As always, we recommend checking to make sure that the device is fully charged before using it. To do so just click the control button once. The 4 LED indicator lights that surround the control button show the remaining charge . If all 4 lights are lit then the device has 100-75% charge remaining, is 3 lights are lit then 74-50% remaining, two lights means 49-25%, 1 light means 24-1%, and if all lights flash then the device has 0% charge remaining. If your device needs charge, connect it to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes approximately 1.5 hours.

HOW TO USE

Now that the device is charged let’s look at the two unique settings GLO Pro offers. The settings are called Standard and Boost. The heating time, length of use, temperature, and number of consecutive uses changes depending on what setting you choose.

STANDARD:

1. Insert HeatStick
   • GLO Pro only works with Neo, Dunhill NeoStiks, Kent NeoStiks
2. Press and hold control button for 3 seconds
3. When heating begins you’ll feel one vibration and the lights will turn on one-by-one
   • Heating takes approximately 20 seconds
4. When heating is done all lights will be on and the device will vibrate
5. You can use it now
   • The cycle lasts 4 minutes, 20 seconds
   • Runs at 239°C/ 462°F
6. There is a warning vibration when cycle is almost done and all lights but one turn off
7. The device will turn off and the last light turns off too
8. Remove HeatStick

Since GLO Pro is a multi-use device you can begin another cycle right away if you want. We got 27 consecutive uses with Standard.

BOOST:

1. Insert HeatStick
   • GLO Pro only works with Neo, Dunhill NeoStiks, Kent NeoStiks
2. Press and hold control button for 6 seconds
   • You’ll feel one vibration after 3 seconds, keep pressing the control button until you feel two more vibrations after 6 seconds
3. When heating begins the lights will flash in a circle (kind of like a loading symbol)
   • Heating takes approximately 10 seconds
4. When heating is done all lights will be on and the device will vibrate twice
5. You can use it now
   • The cycle lasts 3 minutes, 10 seconds
   • Runs at over 262°C/ 504°F
6. There is a warning vibration when cycle is almost done and all lights but one turn off
7. The device will turn off and the last light turns off too
8. Remove HeatStick

We got 29 consecutive uses with Boost.

To ensure that your device stays healthy, clean it regularly. GLO Pro is super easy to clean. Just wait for the device to cool, open the heating chamber from both ends, put the cleaning brush in, and sweep away any grime.
