WOULD WE RECOMMEND?

Yes! GLO Hyper is a great device! Very similar to GLO Pro as it offers two unique settings (Standard and Boost) that alter temperature, length of cycle, and heating time. The biggest difference is that GLO Hyper only works with Neo Demi Slim HeatSticks instead of Neo, Dunhill NeoStiks, or Kent NeoStiks, like the rest of the GLO devices do. This means that even though the device is great, alot of your decision to use it should be based off of whether you like the Neo Demi Slim HeatStick flavors available.

NOTE* With GLO Pro we had noted that there was an obvious (and somewhat annoying) ticking rattling sound. This comes from the induction heating technology GLO uses. GLO Hyper also uses induction heating, but we do find that the noise is less noticeable than with GLO Pro.

FEATURES: Temperature adjustment, length of use adjustment, heating time adjustment.

QUALITY: Seems good.

DESIGN: Love the design! The rose gold accents are chic but still understated. Very similar to GLO Pro.

UNBOXING

In your GLO Hyper kit you will find; the device, the manual, a Thank You card, a USB adaptor (note: adaptor style varies based on region of purchase), a USB cable, and a cleaning brush.

Before using the device, check to see that it’s fully charged. To do so just click the control button once. The 4  lights that surround the control button show the charge . If all 4 lights are lit then the device has 100-75% charge remaining, is 3 lights are lit then 74-50% remaining, two lights means 49-25% remaining, 1 light means 24-1% remaining, and if all lights flash then the device is at 0% charge. If your device needs charging connect it to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes.

HOW TO USE

Now that the device is charged let’s look at the two unique settings GLO Hyper offers. The settings are called Standard and Boost. The heating time, length of use, temperature, and number of consecutive uses changes depending on what setting you choose.

STANDARD:

1. Insert HeatStick
   • GLO Hyper only works with Neo Demi Slim HeatSticks
2. Press and hold control button for 3 seconds
3. When heating begins you’ll feel one vibration and the lights will turn on one-by-one
   • Heating takes approximately 20 seconds
4. When heating is done all lights will be on and the device will vibrate
5. You can use it now
   • The cycle lasts 4 minutes, 20 seconds
   • Runs at 238°C/ 460°F
6. There is a warning vibration when cycle is almost done and all lights but one turn off
7. The device will turn off and the last light turns off too
8. Remove HeatStick

Since GLO Hyper is a multi-use device you can begin another cycle right away if you want. We got 20 consecutive uses with Standard.

BOOST:

1. Insert HeatStick
   • GLO Hyper only works with Neo Demi Slim HeatSticks
2. Press and hold control button for 5 seconds
   • You’ll feel one vibration after 3 seconds, keep pressing the control button until you feel two more vibrations after 5 seconds
3. When heating begins the lights will flash in a circle (kind of like a loading symbol)
   • Heating takes approximately 15 seconds
4. When heating is done all lights will be on and the device will vibrate twice
5. You can use it now
   • The cycle lasts 3 minutes, 15 seconds
   • Runs at over 250°C/ 482°F
6. There is a warning vibration when cycle is almost done and all lights but one turn off
7. The device will turn off and the last light turns off too
8. Remove HeatStick

We got 25 consecutive uses with Boost.

To ensure that your device stays healthy, clean it regularly. GLO Hyper does not have a self-cleaning feature but don’t worry it’s extremely easy to clean. Jut open the HeatStick heating chamber, put the brush in, and sweep away any grime. You’re going to want to sweep from both ends of the HeatSticks heating chamber to make sure that you don’t miss anything.
