This is it, everybody! This is the IQOS device!

IQOS 3 DUO is the new and improved IQOS device. It has faster charging speeds and offers more consecutive uses with both the holder and the pocket charger. Gone are the days of only getting a single-use. Now you get 2 consecutive uses with the holder and approximately 35 with the pocket charger. This makes it so much easier for frequent, on-the-go HnB users!

We’re really glad to see these changes with IQOS! They are definitely moving in the right direction by listening to customer feedback and making small improvements to device performance! This is our favorite IQOS device so far! Moreover, we love the customer service IQOS offers! They are the best company on the market when it comes to keeping customers happy, whether that be helping with technical issues, offering you special promotions, or giving you exclusive access to IQOS lounges around the world!

QUALITY: Excellent! The material is great, although a bit heavy. Provides about the same quality hit as IQOS 3.0 does.

DESIGN: Exact same exterior as IQOS 3.0, however DUO comes in a few new colors and finishes, such as the limited edition chrome Traveler Exclusive that we got. Personally, I kind of like that they didn’t change the design too much as it allows me to keep using my IQOS 3.0 accessories with DUO.

In your IQOS 3 DUO kit you will find; the device, the manual, safety instructions, a warranty card, a USB cable, an adaptor, a cleaning brush, and cleaning sticks.

Before using your IQOS 3 DUO you’ll want to check the battery status. To do so just put the holder into the pocket charger and click the pocket charger control button once. The little line of lights, labelled the ‘pocket charger charge status lights,’ will light up to show you how much power the pocket charger has. The more lights, the more power. If none of the lights are lit, just connect the pocket charger to a power source via the USB cable and adaptor. Charging takes approximately 1 hour and 22 minutes.

The two lights next to the pocket charger charge status lights show how much power the holder has. If both lights are lit you have enough power in your holder for 2 consecutive uses. If only one light is lit, then you only have enough power for 1 use. If either light is flashing then it means the holder is charging. Charging can take as little as 45 seconds (1 use), however we found that full charging (2 uses) takes approximately 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

HOW TO USE

1. Take holder out of pocket charger
2. Gently insert HeatStick
3. Turn on:
   • press and hold control button
4. Device will vibrate and lights will flash when heating begins
   • heating takes approximately 22 seconds
5. Device will vibrate and lights will turn solid when ready to use
   • Cycle lasts 6 minutes or 14 puffs
6. Device will give a warning vibration and lights will flash before the cycle ends
7. Lights will turn off when cycle is done
8. Gently remove HeatStick

Since IQOS 3 DUO is multi-use you can use the holder twice before needing to charge it in the pocket charger. If you want to do a second use, just change the HeatStick to a new one, then press and hold the control button again. If you don’t want another use, just remove the HeatStick and put the holder in the pocket charger to charge.

Make sure that when inserting and removing HeatSticks that you do not twist them inside the HeatSticks heating chamber. IQOS blades are known to be a bit fragile and if you twist the HeatStick it could break the blade. To avoid this, always remember to push the cap up when removing HeatSticks (see manual for more info).

To keep the device working well make sure you clean it regularly. IQOS 3 DUO does not offer automatic-cleaning so once a week or so you need to manually clean the holder. To do this just remove the cap, insert the cleaning brush or a cleaning stick into the HeatSticks heating chamber, then wipe away any built-up grime. If you used cleaning sticks give the holder a minute to dry, then put the cap back on. If you used the brush you can put the cap back on right away. If you find manual cleaning a bit daunting, check out the HNCB or ELIO automatic cleaner for IQOS.

HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW

IQOS’ brand of HeatSticks is called HEETS. HEETS are specifically designed for IQOS HnB products holder device. Each HEET consists of 18 milligrams of nicotine. Users report that the tobacco taste is very strong because of this. Due to such several users have commented that, despite which label, IQOS flavors have a more noticeable nicotine taste than vape flavors. • Philip Morris International (PMI), the IQOS manufacturer, is spending a lot of money keeping its new and existing customers happy. If you encounter any problems with your IQOS devices do not hesitate to reach out to them by calling their customer service support line. The phone number, corresponding to country of purchase, is located on the side of the box. There is no guaranteed course of action, however the company does prize customer satisfaction. They did replace one of our products for free, which amazed us as it was a broken blade in an older device without a receipt. They simply scanted the bar code and give us a brand new device. I would not expect this to happen all the time but it is worth bring up.
• In some countries PMI offers free cleaning of the product by simply visiting an official IQOS store.
• If you find cleaning tedious, check out automatic cleaning devices, like HNBC or Elio.
• You get more bang for your buck if you buy the full IQOS kit, rather than the device alone. If you buy directly from IQOS, there are often deals and sometimes you can even trade in your old device for a discount on your new device.
