WOULD WE RECOMMEND?

Just because IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus is one of the older IQOS models doesn’t mean that it should be dismissed. This device offers a really satisfying drag that’s full of flavor.

There are two parts to IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus; the holder (which heats the HeatStick) and the pocket charger (which charges the holder). The holder cannot be used consecutively, but it charges quickly in only 3 minutes, 15 seconds. You’ll get approximately 36 consecutive uses before you’ll need to charge the pocket charger. IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus doesn’t offer any features aside from Bluetooth (which is only available in 2.4 Plus), but it is an easy to use device that gets the job done. Would recommend!

DESIGN: The design isn’t the most impressive out of all IQOS models. Very simple and understated.

UNBOXING

In the IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus kit you’ll find; the pocket charger, holder, manual, USB cable, cleaning brush, and cleaning sticks. Promotional material, such as coupons, and a warning about the health risks associated with tobacco consumption, as required by most governments, are also sometimes included in the box.

Once you’ve opened the kit, check the charge of your pocket charger by pressing and holding the power button. The 4 LED indicator lights on the front of the pocket charger will show you the amount of charge remaining. 4 lights lit means that there is 75%+ charge remaining, 3 lights means 75%-50% remaining, 2 lights means 50%-25% remaining, and only 1 light lit means that there is 25% or less charge remaining. If there is anything less than 4 lights lit when you press the power button, we recommend charging. To do so, insert the holder into the pocket charger. To ensure that the holder will properly charge when in the pocket charger device, it must be inserted with the IQOS logo facing forwards (towards the push-top button, not towards the open lid). Once the holder is properly inserted, close the lid and plug in the USB cable to the USB port on the bottom of the pocket charger, then plug it into a power source. It takes approximately 2 hours, 10 minutes to charge. When fully charged the pocket charger LED indicator lights will turn solid green.

Once fully charged, the device can be used. To do so;

1. Take the holder out of the pocket charge
2. Gently insert a HeatStick into the holder
3. Press and hold the holder control button
4. LED light flashes and device vibrates
   • Heating takes 22 seconds
5. When device is ready to use light turns solid
   • cycle length is 6 minutes or 14 puffs
6. Warning vibration 30 seconds before cycle ends
7. Device powers off, LED lights turn off
8. Push up cap and remove HeatStick
9. Put holder in pocket charger to charge

Make sure to clean your device regularly. The manufacturer recommends after every 20 HeatSticks. To clean your device, remove the cap from the holder and gently lower the cleaning brush over the HeatSticks heating chamber. Slowly rotate the cleaning brush so its bristles remove any dirt within the holder. When done, remove the cleaning brush and replace the cap. You can also use the cleaning sticks to wipe away any grime in the heating chamber.

Some users have reported a technical malfunction where the device locks them out. This most often this happens while charging the holder within the pocket charger. The pocket charger will either keep charging after the 4 minutes it usually takes or the holder power indicator light will begin flashing red once removed from the pocket charger.

Troubleshooting is relatively easy, you just have to reset the pocket charger. To do this place the holder into the pocket charger and close the lid, then hold down the pocket charger power button (if you have the 2.4 Plus, hold down both the power button and the Bluetooth button) for a few seconds then release. Give the device a few moments to reset, at which time all device buttons will flash indicating that the device is ready to be used once again.

You can also reset the holder by pressing and holding the holder control button for a short time. If the issues persist seek the help of your regional IQOS representatives.

HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW

IQOS’ brand of HeatSticks is called HEETS. HEETS are specifically designed for IQOS HnB products holder device. Each HEET consists of 18 milligrams of nicotine. Users report that the tobacco taste is very strong because of this. Due to such several users have commented that, despite which label, IQOS flavors have a more noticeable nicotine taste than vape flavors. TIPS & TRICKS

• Philip Morris International (PMI), the IQOS manufacturer, is spending a lot of money keeping its new and existing customers happy. If you encounter any problems with your IQOS devices do not hesitate to reach out to them by calling their customer service support line. The phone number, corresponding to country of purchase, is located on the side of the box. There is no guaranteed course of action, however the company does prize customer satisfaction. They did replace one of our products for free, which amazed us as it was a broken blade in an older device without a receipt. They simply scanted the bar code and give us a brand new device. I would not expect this to happen all the time but it is worth bring up.
• In some countries PMI offers free cleaning of the product by simply visiting an official IQOS store.
• If you find cleaning tedious, check out automatic cleaning devices, like HNBC or Elio.
• You get more bang for your buck if you buy the full IQOS kit, rather than the device alone. If you buy directly from IQOS, there are often deals and sometimes you can even trade in your old device for a discount on your new device.

Most IQOS holders come with a two-year warranty. You may be able to get a new holder in the event that your heating blade is broken or you experience some other damaged component. To take advantage of your warranty you’ll want to contact the store that you purchased the IQOS kit or holder from and let them know the issue that you’re having. The manufacturer should be able to help you without you having to issue a complaint.
