WOULD WE RECOMMEND?

We were really impressed with HiTaste P5 so we wanted to see if P6 was just as good. If anything, it’s better.

There’s not a huge amount of difference between the two so for people who are used to P5, P6 is just a small upgrade. The biggest difference is the number of continuous uses you get. With P5 you only got around 16 whereas with P6 you get 35! P6 also has a whole host of other features including a screen, temperature adjustment, length of use adjustment, usage record, automatic-cleaning, and the brand new cleaning prompt.

For $52USD, this is a great device to have! We would highly recommend.

QUALITY: Excellent! This device is obviously well-made.

DESIGN: We really like the design of HiTaste P6. It’s very similar to P5. Simple, but includes everything you need on the display screen. There is a wide range of colors, from black to ombre.

In your HiTaste P6 kit you will find; the device, the manual, a Quality Control Card, and a USB cable.

When you take your device out of the box, you’ll want to check its charge by pressing the control button once. In the left-hand corner of the screen there will be a little battery icon which will display the charge amount remaining. If the battery is not completely full then we recommend charging the device. Do do so, connect the device to a power source via the USB cable. When charging, the activation screen will change to show a larger version of the battery icon. Charging will take approximately 3 hours.

HOW TO USE

Now that your HiTaste P6 device is charged, you can begin using it. Here’s how;

1. Set preferences:
   • Temperature adjustment: click + or – buttons until desired temp shows on screen, wait to set
     • temperature ranges from 200 C/392 F to 300 C/572 F
   • Length of cycle: click control button 5 times, length of cycle flashes, click + or – buttons to reach desired time, wait to set
     • length of use ranges from 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes
2. Insert HeatStick
3. Click control button 3 times to turn on
   • Heating takes 15 seconds
4. Device will vibrate and numbers on display screen will start changing once heating process starts
5. Device will give warning vibration near the end of the cycle and countdown will show on screen
6. Remove HeatStick

There are a few other features available with this device as well. Let’s explore them;

1. Comes with a usage record, automatic-cleaning, and a cleaning prompt
   • To clear usage record: click control button 5 times, length of cycle numbers flash, click control button 5 more times, usage record lashes, click any button to clear
   • To use automatic-clean: click control button 8 times, ‘CLEAN’ shows on screen
   • Cleaning prompt: every 5 HeatSticks HiTaste P6 will auto-clean

You’ll also want to manually clean the device, to ensure that it keep working well. HiTaste is a bit unique as it is the only Heat-not-Burn brand we know of that does not include cleaning accessories, such as a brush or swabs, with the kit. Don’t worry though, as you can get some good quality, but inexpensive, cleaning accessories on AliExpress. Click here to see our favorites.

The HiTaste brand does not produce their own HeatSticks. Instead, their devices are designed to work with other branded HeatSticks, such as HEETS and Marlboro for IQOS HeatSticks.
