If you were a fan of IQOS 3.0 Multi, consider giving Lil Solid Plus a try. This lil device packs a big punch by offering 38 consecutive uses! It also offers automatic-cleaning, which IQOS does not. What’s more, Lil is compatible with HEETS, but it also works with KT&G’s own brand of HeatSticks, called Fiit. This means that you have even more flavor options available.
Our only complaint is that Lil Solid Plus is somewhat difficult to secure. There is no official worldwide KT&G website that sells these devices. That means is you live outside of regions where they are easily available (Korea basically) you will have to purchase through a third-party and will probably pay an inflated rate. We paid $190USD. Prepare yourself. Moreover, the device the instructions are completely in Korean, so its obvious that Lil was not made with a global audience in mind. This makes us a bit nervous about what we would do if we ever needed technical support or maintenance. We don’t know for sure, but we think we’d probably be out of luck since we didn’t buy from the manufacturer or a licensed retailer. That would be alot of money to loose if anything did go wrong. Before deciding whether to buy this device, cost-benefit is definitely something you need to consider.

DESIGN: Lil Solid Plus has a great design. In fact, this design is so popular that alot of smaller HnB manufacturers copy it. Lil Solid Plus’ design is sleek, modern, professional, and gives off that expensive vibe. Moreover, it’s got a really nice coating, that makes it comfortable to hold.

In your Lil Solid Plus kit you will find; the device, the manual, a quick user guide, a basic info sheet, a warning card, the USB cable, the USB adapter (usually this would be a bonus, but it is made for Korean outlets only *crying*), a cleaning brush, and cleaning sticks.
Once you get the device, check the charge by clicking the control button once. The color of the light indicates the charge percentage remaining. Dark blue indicates 100%-60% charge remaining, light blue is 60%-30%, orange is 30%-0%, and red is 0%. If your device needs charging, connect to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes approximately 2 hours.
HOW TO USE
Now that your Lil Solid Plus device is charged, you can begin using it. Here’s how;
Heat180
- Insert the HeatStick
- Press and hold the control button to turn on
- Device will vibrate and light will begin flashing green to show heating has started
- heating takes approximately 15 seconds
- Device will vibrate and light will turn solid when heating is done and device is ready to use
- cycle lasts 4 minutes, 15 seconds
- Device will give warning vibration and light will flash before turning off
- Light will turn off when cycle ends
- Remove HeatStick by pushing cap up and pulling HeatStick out
It seems that the device has an automatic cool-down sensor that’s activated when the device gets too hot. This doesn’t very often, but sometimes if you use it 2 times consecutively. You’ll know that the device is in cool-down mode when you press and hold the control button and instead of starting the heating process, the LED indicator light just flashes yellow then turns off. This doesn’t seem to last for too long before Lil has cooled down enough to be used again.
As always, clean your device often for good health. Luckily, Solid Plus has a self-cleaning feature. To use it, click the control button 5 times in rapid succession until the LED indicator light turns orange. This will help burn away any build-up, but do make sure to also clean manually as needed. To do so, just wait for the device to cool, take the cap off and use the cleaning brush and/or cleaning sticks to wipe away grime.
HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW
Korea Tobacco & Ginseng have their own brand of HeatSticks designed to work with Lil products. These HeatSticks are called Fiit. Their design and diameters are pretty similar to IQOS HEETS. This means that you can use Fiit in almost any device you use HEETS in. To learn more about Fiit, click here.

WARRANTY
There is a 12-month warranty included in your Lil Solid Plus kit that covers manufacturer defects only. If any damage is caused as a result of incorrect usage, the device will not be covered. If the device is defective, you will need to send if back to the manufacturer for repair. After repair the warranty will be extended for another 6 months.
We aren’t entirely sure if this is correct or not as none of us here at Heat180 read Korean, but our Google translate results seem to indicate that there is a clause in the warranty that states that the device will be covered for 12 months OR for 15 months from the date of manufacture. We think that means that if you buy the device 3 months after it was manufactured, you have a 12 month warranty remaining, but if you buy it 10 months after it was manufactured, you only have a 5 month warranty remaining. If any of our community members can read Korea, please let us know if this assumption is correct!
