WOULD WE RECOMMEND?
| A little while ago we reviewed a Heat-not-Burn device called X7, in that review we talked about how some manufacturers don’t put a brand name on their devices so that they can be purchased in bulk and sold by resellers. Langqin is another device like that. |
Heat180
Langqin is a really cool non-branded device, that is surprisingly powerful. Although it’s advertised as providing only 30 consecutive uses, our test users got 47! That’s great! Langqin also offers a locking feature, temperature adjustment, and automatic-cleaning. It is a solid device that we thoroughly enjoyed testing and for only $25USD it’s a great deal.
The problem with Langqin is that without belonging to a brand, it’s difficult to actually purchase this device, not to mention get into contact with the manufacturer if you have any concerns. We’d definitely recommend Langqin, but take that into consideration if you decide to purchase it.

DESIGN: Design is very similar to Lil Solid Plus. Love the feel of both of these materials. The color options are great, especially when you get the limited edition colors.

In your Langqin kit you will find; the device, the manual, a USB cable, and a cleaning brush.
Once you’ve received your device, you should check to make sure it’s charged. To do so, just click the control button once. The color of the light will show what percent charge is remaining. Blue means 75% – 100% charge remaining, yellow is 35% – 75%, and red is 0% – 35%. If your device needs charging, connect it to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes approximately 2 hours.
HOW TO USE
Now that you’re Langqin device is charged, you can begin using it. Here’s how;
Heat180
- Unlock
- click control button 5 times
- the light will flash yellow
- Insert the HeatStick
- Press and hold control button to turn on
- Device will vibrate and light will begin flashing to show heating has started
- heating takes approximately 10 seconds
- Temperature adjustment is done while device is heating
- click control button once to change temperature settings
- the color of the light shows the set temperature
- blue = low
- yellow = medium
- red = high
- Device will vibrate and light will turn solid when heating is done and device is ready to use
- cycle lasts 4 minutes
- Device will vibrate and light turns off when cycle is over
- Remove HeatStick by pushing cap up and pulling HeatStick out
- Lock by clicking control button 5 times
Fortunately, Langqin comes equipped with an automatic-cleaning feature. To use this feature, click the control button quickly until the LED indicator light begins flashing blue, red, and yellow. Automatic-cleaning takes around 40 seconds. NOTE* the manual says to click the control button 3 times for automatic-cleaning, we had to click ours anywhere from 3-7 times, but had no problems if we did this.
Don’t forget to manually clean your device. To do so, lift the cap off of the body of the device and gently insert the cleaning brush. Use the brush to sweep away any built up grime.
HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW
The Langqin brand does not produce their own HeatSticks. Instead, their devices are designed to work with other branded HeatSticks, such as HEETS and Marlboro for IQOS HeatSticks.
