HIGHLIGHTS

WOULD WE RECOMMEND?

Some aspects of Pluscig B2S were really great (40 consecutive uses, temperature adjustment, automatic-cleaning function, etc.) but we’d have a hard time recommending this to HnB users. For the price, the device simply isn’t worth it. B2S sells for approximately $44USD, but the material quality is something we would expect from a device selling for $20. The plastic is cheap and fragile feeling, as if it would break easily. Moreover, the device begins to smell like burning plastic after only one use. This really taints the experience of using this device.

We recognize that the technology in this thing is fantastic (how did they manage to fit so much power into such a small device?) but there are some big issues with quality.

FEATURES: Locking feature, temperature adjustment, automatic-cleaning.

QUALITY: Needs improvement, especially the material the device is made with. It feels cheap, like it would break easily. There is a burning smell after just one use.

DESIGN: Due to the poor quality material, the design ends up looking cheap too. Small and boxy. Looks a bit like a child’s toy.

UNBOXING

In your Pluscig B2S kit you will find; the device, the manual, a Quality Control card, a USB cable, a cleaning sticks, and gaskets (small paper circles).

Once you’ve unboxed everything, you can check the device’s charge by clicking the control button 3 times to unlock the device, then check the color of the charge indicator lights. Green means there is 80% – 100% charge remaining, blue means 20% – 80% remaining, red means 0% – 20%. If you need to charge your device, connect it to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours.

HOW TO USE

Once your Pluscig BS2 device is charged, you can turn it on to use it. Here’s how;

1. Unlock
   • click control button 3 times
   • NOTE* this is also called “active state”
2. Set temperature
   • click control button 4 times
   • temperature adjustment lights will change
     • L = low temperature
     • M = medium temperature
     • H (blue) = high temperature
     • H (red) = ultra high temperature
3. Insert the HeatStick
4. Press and hold control button to turn on
5. Device will vibrate and light will begin flashing to show heating has started
   • heating takes approximately 5-10 seconds
6. Device will vibrate and light will turn solid when heating is done and device is ready to use
   • cycle lasts 4 minutes
7. Device will vibrate and light will turn off when cycle ends
8. Remove HeatStick by pushing HeatStick eject button up and pulling HeatStick out

B2S comes with an automatic-cleaning feature. To use it, being the heating process by pressing and holding the control button, but once the heating process has begun, don’t let go of the button. Keep pressing on it until the device vibrates for a second time and the LED indicator lights flash two colors at once. Automatic-cleaning lasts for 30 seconds.

You will also need to manually clean the device. To do this, wait for the device to cool then press up on the HeatSticks eject button and remove the heating chamber insert. Use the cleaning brush or cleaning sticks to remove any grime in the heating chamber.

HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW

The Pluscig brand does not produce their own HeatSticks. Instead, their devices are designed to work with other branded HeatSticks, such as HEETS and Marlboro for IQOS HeatSticks.
