WOULD WE RECOMMEND

KOSE addresses a major issue that IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus have – that you can only use the holder once then need to wait for it to recharge. With KOSE, which has 2 holders, you can use it multiple times consecutively. This makes KOSE a great alternative to IQOS, especially since it get gets 38 consecutive uses and also offers automatic-cleaning.

Our only complaint is the price. We found that the price was quite inconsistent. On some websites the device sold for as little as $16USD, on others it sold for as much as $135USD. If you can get this device for $65USD or under, we’d say it’s a good deal, but anything more than that is pushing it. Once you get into the higher price points, it would be better value to just buy IQOS as you get much batter support and warranty coverage.

FEATURES: Automatic-cleaning.

QUALITY: Seems very good, almost on par with IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus. The blade may be a bit fragile.

DESIGN: Very similar to IQOS 2.4/2.4 Plus, but it comes with two holders. We love that there are two caps included in the kit, as they help you personalize your device.

In your KOSE kit you will find; a pocket charger, 2 holders, 2 holder caps, the manual, a USB cable, and cleaning sticks.

Once you’ve unboxed your device, you’ll want to check its charge. To do so just click the pocket charger power button. The number of lights that light up show the amount of charge remaining. 4 lights means 100%-75% charge remaining, 3 lights means 75%-50%, 2 lights means 50%-25%, 1 light means 25%-0% charge remaining. If your device has anything less that 4 lights we recommend charging by connecting the device to a power source via the USB cable. Charging takes 3 hours, 15 minutes.

HOW TO USE

Now that your KOSE device is charged you can begin using it. To do so;

1. Remove holder from pocket charger
2. Insert HeatStick into holder
3. Press and hold, holder control button
4. Holder will vibrate and light flashes red while heating
5. When heating is complete, holder light turns solid white
6. Nearing the end of the cycle, the holder gives a warning vibration, then will turn off
7. Remove HeatStick
8. Put holder back into the pocket charger to recharging

Unlike IQOS, KOSE offers automatic-cleaning. To clean with this feature, click the control button 5 times. The device will vibrate and the light will begin flashing. Automatic-cleaning lasts for 30 seconds.

You’ll also want to manually clean the device. To do so, just wait until the holder is cool, then remove the cap, gently insert a cleaning stick into the heating chamber and use it to brush away any grime.
