iBuddy i1 is a simple and inexpensive device. We’re not sure it would be our first pick from the iBuddy brand (we still like iBuddy Se more) but it’s okay. It offers 21 continuous cycles and the price is quite reasonable.
FEATURES: Locking mechanism.
QUALITY: Seems like pretty good quality.
DESIGN: It’s nothing flashy. Kind of boxy, but compact. It has a really soft and smooth coating on the device.

In your iBuddye i1 kit you will find; the device, the manual, a USB cable, a cleaning brush, and cleaning sticks.
Before using your iBuddy device make sure to check the charge by clicking on the control button once. The number of lights that light up when you do this will show what percent charge is remaining. 3 lights mean >80%, 2 lights mean >50%, 1 light means >25%. If the device is not fully charged, plug it into a power source via the USB cable. It will take 2-3 hours to charge.
HOW TO USE
Now that your HiTaste Q1 device is charged, you can begin using it. Here’s how;
Heat180
- Unlock by clicking the control button 5 times
- lights will turn on one-by-one when unlocked
- Insert the HeatStick
- Press and hold control button to turn on
- One light will begin flashing red to show device is heating
- heating takes approximately 15-20 seconds
- Light will turn solid red
- cycle lasts 5.5 minutes or 16 puffs
- When cycle is over all 3 lights will flash, then turn off
- Remove HeatStick by pushing HeatStick eject button up and pulling HeatStick out
- Lock by clicking control button 5 times
- lights will turn off one-by-one when locked
Make sure to clean your iBuddy i1 device regularly. To do so, just wait until device is cool, push up on the HeatSticks eject button and take the heating chamber insert out. Then insert either the brush or the cleaning sticks and use them to clean away any grime or tobacco buildup.
HEATSTICKS OVERVIEW
The iBuddy brand does not produce their own HeatSticks. Instead, their devices are designed to work with other branded HeatSticks, such as HEETS and Marlboro for IQOS HeatSticks.

WARRANTY
iBuddy does not disclose their warranty terms. Instead, the company recommends that you contact them if you have technical issues with your device or are not satisfied up to 14 days after receiving your iBuddy device, but only if it was purchased from iBuddy directly. It appears that if you purchased the device from an alternative distributor (for example, an unauthorized Aliexpress store), your device will not be covered by a warranty in any way.
