What are gaskets and why do you need them? Gaskets are small, inexpensive inserts for your IQOS holder that keep it clean by absorbing smoke oil and capturing tobacco residue, thus extending the life of your device.

Gaskets are easy to use. All you have to do is insert one into your holder so that it fits around the blade, then replace it once it starts looking dirty. That’s all there is to it! Super simple and definitely worth it. When you’re spending around $100USD on an IQOS device you want it to last a long time. Why not give it a better chance by using a gasket?

You can also use gaskets in non-IQOS devices, just be aware of what type of blade your gasket must fit. IQOS devices have long, flat blades so your gasket must have a long slit to fit around the blade. If your device has a different style of blade, for example a pin-style blade, you’ll need a gasket with a circle in the middle. This would be devices like HiTaste, Pluscig, iBuddy, etc.

HOW TO USE

STEP 1: Wait until your holder is cool

STEP 2: Get 1 gasket out

STEP 3: Gently place blade through gasket and lower gasket into holder heating chamber

STEP 4: Leave gasket in holder until gasket begins to look discolored, dirty, soggy, etc.

STEP 5: Remove gasket by turning holder upside down and gently tapping it against a hard surface until gasket comes out of heating chamber

STEP 6: Dispose of used gasket and replace with a new one

TIP: Use tweezers to help with steps 3 and 5 if you have difficulty maneuvering the gasket

TIPS

• Gaskets come in many different sizes – make sure you have the right gasket for your device before purchasing
  • Most gaskets available for purchase online work with flat blades only, not with pin-style blades – pin-style blade gaskets look similar, but they have a circle in the middle (donut shape) to accommodate the different blade shape
• Gaskets fit all IQOS devices and some devices from smaller manufacturers such as Lambda CC, TOBA, Aokey C&O, etc.
• All other tools needed to use gaskets can be found in your home (long needles, point type tweezers, even toothpick will work)
