Japan Tobacco Releases 2020 Third Quarter Results

On October 30, 2020, Japan Tobacco, the maker of Ploom, released its 2020 Third Quarter results.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Compared to the previous fiscal year, revenue decreased by 2.5%
• Compared to the previous fiscal year, operating profit decreased by 11.4%
• Japan Tobacco President and Chief Executive Officer, Masamichi Terabatake, attributes these numbers to the lasting effect of COVID-19

• In November, 2020, Ploom TECH+, “a new tobacco infused vapor device” will be launched
